A provider example
Trickster’s help separates Classic Whist, without bidding, from Bid Whist, which includes bidding. A page or app containing the word “Whist” therefore needs a more precise mode label.
Compare the right categories
Write down the deal, trump selection, card ranks, scoring and ending condition in separate rows. Put each mode’s complete reference beside its answers. Leave a field unknown if the provider does not explain it.
Tool compatibility
Our trick comparison uses ordinary ace-high cards with a selected trump suit. The scorebook uses Classic trick points, with no honours. Neither tool implements Bid Whist’s contracts, low-card modes or jokers.
